No filmmaker was born big. Directing and filmmaking is an art that is honed with practice over the years. A big vision, a little luck and a lot of hard work can be the perfect combination to start the rolling stone in your career to become a world-famous filmmaker. Here, at Director’s Cut, we provide that stepping stone in the form of a short-film competition for budding filmmakers.
Consisting of a juried panel of the best critics in the industry, Director’s Cut will be conducted on the 16th of March (Day 2 of SpringSpree ‘19). Action or Avant-Garde, there is no limitation on genre or style, and directors have the freedom to express their passion through a 40-minute short film.
So gear up because Director’s Cut is now open to give the willing a chance, for what may become the opportunity that changes their lives. Winners will not only be rewarded with prizes worth Rs. 20,000, but will also debut on the silver screen of NITW.
