Nukkad Natak, a form of art play where the actors perform on a street with the live audience, was always meant to have a role in social awakening and reformation. It is important because such plays go beyond dialogues. It is the best medium to interact directly with the target audience for sensitising them on a problem!

In case of any disputes, the management’s decision will be final. The management has full authority to disqualify a participant at any stage of the event, citing valid reasons.
The event will be conducted in two rounds, the prelims (online) and the finals (at NITW).
All the interested teams should send a video of their play, the length of which should not be more than 15 minutes. A judging panel will shortlist 6-8 teams, who will proceed to the next round, based on the judging criteria, keeping in mind all the rules and regulations.
Deadline for prelims- 20th February 2019
The shortlisted teams from the Prelims will be given 15 minutes each (from stage setup to its clearance) to present their play in front of a panel of esteemed judges and a live crowd at the NITW Campus. The first bell will be rung at the 12 min mark and the second bell at 15 minutes. The panel will decide the winner and the runner-up, keeping in mind all the rules and regulations.
